This past Thanksgiving my dad and I visited the old dam at Crooks Hollow. The dam is slated to be demolished this year by the Hamilton Conservation Authority. The beautiful reservoir, of course, is part of it, where for 92 years many residents enjoyed the natural beauty. My dad spoke about his childhood, enjoying the area with his family and friends.
